2. Website Provision and Server Logs

When this website is accessed, the web server processes technically necessary connection data. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested resource, transferred data volume, referrer, browser identifier and HTTP status. Processing supports secure and reliable provision, troubleshooting and protection against abusive access. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Access logs are deleted after seven days unless a security investigation or statutory retention requirement applies.

The website is operated on self-managed infrastructure in Germany. Data is not shared for advertising or analytics.

3. Contact by Email or Phone

When you contact us, we process the information you provide, particularly your name, business contact details, company and request. Processing is necessary to respond and communicate. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual measures and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data is deleted when no longer required and when no statutory retention obligation applies.

Email communication is handled through a self-operated mail server. Without additional encryption, email is generally not end-to-end encrypted.

4. Cookies, Analytics and External Content

This public website currently uses no analytics or tracking services, marketing cookies or externally hosted fonts. The self-operated Keycloak identity management system is used for voluntary access to the protected customer portal. In particular, user ID, email address, assigned roles and technically necessary session data are processed for authentication and access control.

After successful authentication, an encrypted session cookie is set that is sent only over HTTPS and cannot be accessed by JavaScript. It is technically necessary to provide the customer portal explicitly requested by the user and expires after no more than eight hours. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual relationships and otherwise on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure provision of access-restricted customer information. Consent is not required for the technically necessary cookie under section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Keycloak and the authentication component run on self-managed infrastructure; data is not transferred to an external identity provider.

5. Recipients and International Transfers

Personal data is disclosed only where permitted by law or required to meet contractual obligations. No transfer for analytics or advertising and no intended transfer to third countries takes place.

6. Your Rights

Subject to statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn for the future. Use the contact details above to exercise your rights.

7. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The authority responsible for businesses established in Schleswig-Holstein is:

Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD)
